Amy Feighery

Sammie Ayres

Aerial Yoga, Children's & Mat Based Yoga Teacher

Aerial Yoga & Mat Based Yoga Teacher

Sammie has been a lover of yoga for a few years now and it all came from practicing with her mum (we're starting to see a theme here - that's how Amy got started too!) Sammie decided to complete her Aerial yoga teacher training in 2017 and Yoga teacher training began with the Independant Yoga Network, completed in autumn 2018. Amy & Sammie met on aerial yoga teacher training and have worked together in Anvesaka Yoga since.

Sammie loves how yogat makes her feel and her ultimate goal is to pass that feeling on to others. Sammie is committed to continuous learning and always considers herself a work in progress!

Outside of teaching and yoga Sammie enjoys nature, walks, spending time with good friends and family.
She has recently completed her Degree 1 in reiki and is excited to see where this new venture takes her.
Amy began teaching yoga to children in February 2015, and has since expanded through British Wheel of Yoga teacher qualifications to teach yoga to adults and ante-natal yoga, as well as aerial yoga and aqua yoga qualifications.

Amy teaches mat based and aerial yoga with Anvesaka Yoga, devises our teaching programmes and runs the business. Amy is passionate about how yoga can help people feel stronger in body and mind, finding peace and contentment through your practice. Amy teaches a cradle to grave approach in yoga, and this comes through in all our class offerings.

Amy is proud to have brought the first Aerial Yoga to Teesside, having experienced the tremendous benefits to self-esteem, social confidence and physical competance Aerial can bring. We are very excited at Anvesaka Yoga for how our aerial offerings will grow in the future.

Jenn Slade

Having been mesmerised by strength and beauty in aerial skill for many years,  when Jenn found a school in Bournemouth who has begun teaching she jumped at the chance to join them.  Jenn has been practicing aerial circus skills,  including silks,  hoop, trapeze and pole over the last five years during which her passion for it has grown.

When not hanging upside Jenn is usually still very active.  Whether it be running, country walks with the dog, gardening or studying wildlife conservation at university as a mature student.
Alison helps to keep us ticking behind the scenes, if you have a query or are looking for help with booking it will be Alison or Amy who will be in touch. Alison has an extensive background in education and is a keen yoga practitioner, baker and all round supermum!
